Insights into on-chain data is at the top of the list for any blockchain analysts and market participants. Data is at the core of fundamentally understanding certain blockchain based projects and the crypto market as a whole. People pay large amounts of money to analytic firms such as Delphi Digital, Glassnode and Tokenmetrics to supply them with this data. All of these firms have been able to amass a large social media following because of the small crumbs they dribble down to their followers allowing them a glimpse of the firms actual data analytics that most pay for.

So what would be the social response to an analytics firm, such as Alpha Alarm, that gave it all away for free.

Strategy number 1 — Long Twitter threads (7–10 long) to summarise a long form article. Great engaging copyright to entice a reader to continue reading the entire article.

The following screenshot is a gallery of one of Delphi digital’s Twitter threads. The thread summarises an analytical article, that is accessible to paying customers, on Bitcoin and Ethereum. The value added by the thread is intended to entice readers to subscribe to a monthly plan.

Strategy number 2 — Humanise the firm. Retweet subject matter that adds value. Quote retweet to humanise the firm. Engage with the community you are building.

Actively engaging with the entire crypto community is a great way to build your individual community. Some extremely important subject matter doesn’t need to broken down into data visuals and analysed by Alpha Alarm. Just retweet some pieces of existing content that highlight the efforts of the community, and add Alpha Alarm’s opinion.

Glassnode

Glassnode follows a similar content strategy.

Strategy Number 1 — Summarising data visuals that are relevant to the attention of the market. For example, the market wants to know if we are bullish or bearish, so address the question with data and summarise a point of view.

Glassnode takes a more superficial dive into crypto topics only showcasing one data visual per topic. This only allows them to make 1–2 thread posts. This is a similar strategy to Delphi digital, just on a smaller scale.

Strategy Number 2 — Quick summary to link free long form articles and market updates.

Again, this is an approach with a lot less copywrite than Delphi Digital.

The Hybrid Approach of Alpha Alarm

Alpha Alarm has a massive advantage to grow bigger and faster than all these analytic firms.

What??

Delphi digital and Glassnode have a ‘carrot on a stick’ approach where they drip feed value, with the expectation of a return. However, Alpha Alarm provides all articles and data visuals straight into the Twitter feed of community members for free.

So using the summarised strategies from these competing analytics firms, the following text devices a content creation strategy, distribution strategy and Strategy for engaging with the community.

This relationship means that all data visuals will be able to feature in a long form article. I believe Delphi Digital has the best strategy in distributing articles on twitter.

Featuring both data visuals and an article summary in a 5–7 thread post on twitter, in my opinion, is the best strategy to boost engagement around Alpha Alarm’s articles.

Less Copywriters, More data wizards

In this scenario the data department at Alpha Alarm can pump out more data visuals than copywriters can write articles. This would significantly decrease the percentage of data visuals that get featured in an article. Therefore, the distribution strategy seen below would stay the same, however, the content would be different.

For example, the strategy could change so that data visuals get an extended twitter thread, rather than an article.

The twitter thread becomes the article and the main showcase of the data visuals.

Engaging with the community

Engaging with the community is a simply process. As seen below the process that Delphi Digital uses to highlight the communities thoughts through ‘tweet of the day’. This is an awesome way for followers to quickly catch up on market conditions and to highlight the work of the community.

This is a strategy that Alpha Alarm can incorporate.

This is a combination of strategies seen by the biggest analytics firms in the world. To further reiterate, Alpha Alarm has a very big competitive advantage that should be showcased. This advantage is that all content is free.
